جاء المصريان الأمريكيان رامي مالك “الحائز على جائزة الأوسكار أفضل ممثل”، ورامي يوسف، بطل مسلسل “رامي”، في قائمة ترشيحات الجولدن جلوب التي أعلنت قبل ساعات

وترشح مالك لفئة أفضل ممثل لمسلسل تلفزيوني عن دوره في المسلسل الشهير “مستر روبوت”، بينما ترشح يوسف لفئة أفضل ممثل في مسلسل كوميدي وموسيقي عن دوره في مسلسل “رامي” الذي يعالج مسألة التأقلم والهوية لشاب مسلم أميركي في ولاية نيوجيرسي

وجوائز جولدن جلوب  هي مجموعة جوائز سنوية للأفلام والتلفزيون. بدأت في عام 1944 بواسطة رابطة هوليوود للصحافة الأجنبية   : Hollywood Foreign Press Association) وهي مجموعة صحافيين أجانب يعملون في هوليوود بولاية كاليفورنيا. كانت الجوائز في السابق للأعمال السينمائية، ولكن منذ عام 1956 أصبحت توزع أيضاً للأعمال التلفزيونية.
